View from the top

First time I've attempted this night time, light trail, malarkey.

But with some time on my hands, a room on the 21st floor, an online tutorial from Smithski, and the help of one of those metal tins of tissue paper they put in the bathroom of hotel rooms which I used to rest the camera on the window sill, here it is.

Edgeware Street at night. With lots of famous landmarks in the far distance.

I'm quite pleased with that for a first go. Could have got the composition at the bottom a bit better if I'd had a tripod and wasn't restricted by maneuvering a box of tissues with a camera on top of it in between two layers of double glazing.
