Film for the evening: the Alan Partridge movie, Alpha Papa. One of very few comic TV creations to translate well to the big screen, with Colm Meaney putting in a great turn as the disgruntled Pat Farrell, and Steve Coogan revelling in the role that (whether he likes it or not) he absolutely embodies.
