Appreciation

Had dinner with old work colleagues tonight. Went to ping pong at south bank for dinner. This was the first time I explored Waterloo in the evening. There are some decent pubs around here but this little beauty is smack bang in the middle of the Main Street. It is a theatre and has it's own bar around the corner. We were on our way to another pub (although I was still doing dry jan, I slightly caved in tonight And had a delicious strawberry and passion fruit cocktail). 1 drink that's all..mainly because of peer pressure as well.Trust accountants to say "if you average out the days in a month, it's 30 days so drink tonight". I was taking this pic and another friend who happens to be a Londoner took his phone out and took the same snap. I was like "you really don't appreciate what's around you until you see someone else appreciating it"..he laughed and agreed. He said "I have never taken a photo of Big Ben or London eye as it's just down the road from me but thousands take a pic of these icons each day. I should really appreciate what's around me more". I'm glad I helped him realize how vibrant and beautiful London can be.
