PING-DROPS
Rain, storm, shopping, rugby on tv, what shall I do until it’s time to cook supper. Go and see the high tide sending waves up the strand. Rather stay indoors.
This little bud on the windowsill catches the eye. It’s a pinguicula or butterwort, part of Gofer’s small collection of carnivorous plants. They have a rosette of round to long very green sticky fleshy leaves which trap the insects and have pretty 5 petal pink to purple flowers on a long stem. I collect another one with the flower open. Ok let’s see what I can do.
Have put a few others here, flickr ..... look out for the fingers!
