Dog walking day

Have you seen a girl with a huskie? the man walking the sheltie asked me.
Umm, yes, she's just down the trail a bit, I replied.

Today was a terrific day to walk the dogs in the park, warm and partly cloudy...a perfect day to be outside. Loads of dogs and their owners were taking advantage of the gorgeous weather to enjoy the park. But just you wait! Six weeks from now, when the temperature has dropped from 65 degrees to 25 degrees, all those people will be holed up for the winter. Only the very hardy (and the crazy blipper) will be found in the park then.

The huskie and the sheltie? Their owners met up, and I passed them again on one of the other trails as I headed for the stairs to get some exercise.
