Butter icing

Today was crazy for weather. Sunshine, hail stones, sunshine, sleet, sunshine, showers. After working this morning with some very excited Year 10s that have almost made a skirt each we went to a friends for a play date. We ventured to the park and got very wet then came back for cakes that were baked earlier. Daughter number two and her friend got to make the butter icing for the top. I have no idea what they were looking at here but it looks most interesting.

A lovely crazy day with someone who is becoming a good friend. I'd almost forgotten that I went to work this morning.
