Wedding albums ordered.
When they arrive in good order and the recipients are happy with them then I will be able to break open the whisky I was given as thanks.

Despite the intermittent foul weather SWMBO and I headed into town to have a look at the Chinese Lanterns which are on display within The Old Quad on South Bridge.

I wasn't expecting people to be able to wander amongst them.
That made taking pictures rather awkward because so many of the ignorant sods made a point of getting in the way and allowing their brats to shake the exhibits without and sign of chastisement.
It also didn't help that the heads are not illuminated. Fine during the day, but the whole point of them is to be seen lit up.

I gave up after about 15 minutes .......... just in time - the Festival Theatre matinee was just emptying out and they all seemed to be coming into the Quad for a look and as before we even got back to the car (round the corner) the heavens had opened again.
