A Mini Adventure

With the planned big blipmeet at Chesterton Mill unfortunately postponed, we decided to head for the same area today but to visit the Heritage Motor Centre at Gaydon.

What a fantastic place it turned out to be, stuffed full of classic British motoring history from the start of motoring to the present day. Jaguar and Aston Martin have a strong presence but there is an equally good selection of interesting Austin, Morris, Rover and Triumph cars on display including a number of unique prototypes.

We met fellow blipper Matthew with son Oliver in the museum (nice to catch up) before we all headed up to Chesterton Mill. Despite the cancelled event, knowing Draco would be there we thought we should at least go and see hello. It was properly windy and very, very chilly so on reflection postponement was wise. Did grab a few shots though, would have been rude not to, this was the best of them.
