Urban Decay

Thinking about carbon and the decay of the industry in the Valley I live in made me go back and look at this old petrol pump, all that is left of a once thriving bus garage that spanned both sides of the road, killed off by industry leaving and the government no one around here voted for making bus routes open.
The weather was atrocious, the light never reached what could be called daylight and I have to admit not actually getting out of the car to take this image, is that cheating or is it just making sure I have a good platform to take it from.
I am also wondering if I should take an image a month to see if it depreciates any more or just disappears.
