Busy day!

I was up fairly early this morning (for a Saturday... for me...) to go down to Cramond to take part in my first Parkrun. The Parkrun happens every Saturday morning at 9.30 - it's a 5K run (not a race!) along the promenade. I came in 360th out of 474 with a time of 29'06". I'm quite pleased that I got a time under 30 minutes as I'm just getting back into running after 6 months off (near enough).

After I got back and made some brunch, I met my friend Ann for a coffee. She's recovering from an operation to her leg and is just back home after a couple of weeks with her parents looking after her.

This afternoon I've done two loads of washing, a mountain of ironing, watched the two 6 Nations games, made butterfly cakes for tomorrow's housewarming, and then made toad in the hole.

I call that a fairly productive day!
