Catch 22

I started this project because I wanted to improve my photography and I had visions of experimenting with my scary camera.

But the beauty of this new iPad is that it has a built in camera. There are no adjustable settings - just point and shoot. So, although I don't have to mess around with memory cards and adapters as I did with my old, camera-free iPad, it does mean that I have no incentive to use a 'proper' camera.

I'm really pleased with myself for having completed my first full month and I have decided that from now on, wherever possible, I will use the camera rather than the iPad.

PS. Please don't think I have a cupboard full of iPads here to choose from. My old one was already third-hand by the time it got to me. It was bought by my eldest son, passed on to my youngest son and by the time he had finished with it it fell into the "it'll do for mum" category.
