Power!

The steam coming out of the Monticello Nuclear Generating Plant is visible from miles away at any time of year, but especially on a cold day. This is just the top of the plant taken from a moving car, miles away from the actual plant. I remember in the 1970's when this plant was opened, thinking it sounded pretty scary.
I am adding this to my One River collection because the plant sits on the bank of the Mississippi River, which we are looking across, where the row of trees is.
Tonight we are in St Cloud to see another show by the Fabulous Armadillos.
