Roisin, one of Ferguson's class friends had her "disco" birthday party in the school hall.
I felt relief when Ferguson started to play with Oliver rather than the other few friends he has. Oliver is much more well behaved than the other boys & I would much prefer than influence over him.
They all had a takeaway pizza-which would have been the just exotic thing for me if I had attended a birthday party as a child!
I managed to quickly snap this photo whilst they were chatting & eating.

Afterwards when we got home, we all went a few doors down to out neighbours. They are South Africsn & they cooked us a traditional meal - Bobotie. It was like a spicy tomato mince thing with bright yellow rice. It was absolutely divine- I even had 2 portions!
It was interesting to hear them talk about themselves also & have a nosey at how their house it laid out to ours!
