They surprised me a tad as I was trying to shoot what I think was a crane on the Loir, so quickly changed the settings to higher iso and speed, to capture their friendlygently trotting towards me but they're still a bit dark. Although I love their coat matching the metallic colour of the water in the light of the late afternoon.

I have to apologize about yesterdays blip because some of you were worried that my cat would catch on fire on the woodburner but the trick was that she was already sitting on it when I set off the fire, watching birds, and as soon as she felt the heat, she jumped off it!
