Nice Weather For Ducks

Wigeon enjoying the waves at Belhaven on a bitterly cold morning. Faither and I were out for a walk whilst the weather held and before the school came out. We found the usual cast of oyster catchers, turnstones, curlews, eider ducks and our single resident red breasted merganser. But it was the wigeon surfing on the waves that were most obliging for my camera.

After school-out at lunchtime we had a great family time and ended up watching Brave and Despicable Me together. Lovely :)
