An Old Friend.............

This is Kiev 88 . Russian or more to the point Ukrainian version of Hasselblad 500 C which was a very good fake . It is a medium format SLR with removable backs , focusing screens and pentaprism . Lovely optics; copied from Carl Zeiss Jena , focal plane shutter from 1 second to 1000th plus bulb . I used this for years along side Pentacon Six TL which was made in Eastern Germany . The camera is still in full working order and it is simply my great friend . Have a lovely Sunday everyone : )
