Day 31: Patterns from Sarawakian Floor Mat
On the first day of Chinese New Year, our family has a tradition to visit MahMah (grandma) shop where all the relatives gathers. It is one tradition we haven't miss ever since I have known my wife.
One of the unique thing about the shop is the representation of Sarawak's arts and culture. Products of the native land abounds: pepper (peppercorn), sago, wild rice, rattan mats and baskets, and woodcrafts.
I've isolated the pattern form by a rolled up mat via LR positive vignetting.
