Zonked!

All three a shattered and ready for bed after a busy weekend.

Oscar and Bailee had their ophthalmology appointment today. They are doing fantastic with their glasses and have both shown significant improvement since wearing them. They can read more now with the glasses on as their eyes have adjusted well. Bailee's eyes are taking longer to focus so she will benefit from two hours of eye patching daily. We will alternate eyes day by day. Hopefully it will only be for two months.

I was really proud of them today as they were both very well behaved at the clinic. They were patient waiting and played imaginatively and listened to a story. The ophthalmologist, Dr Rao, really was fantastic with them. Both loved going in her 'space chair'.

In the afternoon we had a playdate at Andrew and Harry's on level 8! They are such gorgeous boys and the children always have a great time. Oscar particularly liked Andrew's ride-on quad bike and they all had a huge laugh playing with little Harry.

I am noticing Maple is walking straighter now. Hopefully we are lucky and her hips are correcting themselves quicker than anticipated. Who said having kids would be simple?
