Mr Heron

This morning I went to meet my French teacher Christine for breakfast. Although she used to be my teacher, she's more of a friend now and it was lovely to see her and we spent a good hour catching up in French. Then Alan and I had a wander into Waterloo and had a look round the shops and called into Stonemanor where I used to work. We then went to the local Tapas bar for lunch and then called to see our friends Cliona and Fred before heading back to Mary and Chris's.

I struggled to find something to blip today as the weather wasn't great this morning, but then tonight the sky started to clear so Mary & I took Louis out for a walk and I got some nice sunset shots. Blip done, we walked home and then I spotted this heron on the roof of a house. It's not particularly sharp as the light was starting to fade and I was on full zoom, but he had to be my blip :-)

Anyway we're now heading to Les Six Colonnes for a drink and we're then going to pick up a Thai takeaway, so apologies once again for not commenting, but we'll be home tomorrow night and I'll be back on track. Hope you're having a good weekend!
