A gift from the weather gods...

Today I went out early, about 7.30am. It was dry with a clear sky and it looked good... what a relief to have sunshine instead of all this grey murk.
I spent the day at Old Moor, bitterly cold in the wind but it was one of those days where there was lots to see and I thoroughly enjoyed taking zillions of pics.

This male sparrowhawk visited the garden on many occasions but didn't manage to catch a meal, fab to see :)

ps. I got rid of mynictle, way too 2013.... not sure about my new one but will see how it goes, it's difficult to choose a name!
