Ordination sewing

I went to the ordination service for 23 Anglican deacons today. I had really hoped to get an interesting picture, but managed to forget my phone/camera in the car. Why? Probably because I sat up to 1am trying to complete an ordination gift for my friend Andrew.
Considering that I only started the design process for an embroidered bookmark around 8pm, I was being rather ambitious. Still, the hour long return train trips helped. So the gum leaves are almost finished. The flames are on my own ordination stole which I made and wore for the first time one year ago.
