A Friend's Rose

Saturday is always busy here and today was no exception.

Leah and I went shopping this morning for a present for her for Passing NCEA with flying colours.

She decided to get a silver bracelet, that she had been wanting for a while and we found what she was looking for in a Jewellers Shop in town.

Then she was off to work and I headed home to get ready to pick up 2 friends and head out to Pleasant Point to have lunch at G's place.

G has been away overseas with her husband for just over 7 years and they are back now to retire in their Point house.

What a wonderful time we had catching up and reminising about all the things we use to get up to.

Now I am filling in time and at 10pm when I will pick Leah up from the movies - she has gone out for dinner then the movies with the boarders from her school.
