Chinese New Year

A hood day at work today, my application for Trafford is underway and although I had to swap my day off from Friday to Saturday, I started early and finished early and went to Topshop to buy a black tulle skirt and dancer dress in the sale with my bonus bond vouchers. Ali and I went to wags for dinner and ordered our usual (chicken katsu curry with sauce on the side for Ali and yaki soba for me washed down with both varieties of Rekorderlig). We then went to the cinema to see That Awkward Moment with Zac Efron and had Ben & Jerry's core sundaes whilst we watched. The walk home was too cold and windy to bear so I got a taxi and came home to be reminded by Mulan that today was indeed Chinese New Year, happy year of the horse everyone; Mulan clearly left her horse Khan back in the stables, but has her dog Little Brother to keep her company! At least one friend is better than none, and I am grateful to be able to say I have many friends to ring in the new year with.
