Building detail Old Town Hall Carlisle

Today we had to go to Carlisle to pick up some equipment I will need during my recovery from the operation. We stopped at a home furnishings "shed" away fromthe centre of town and had coffee and a wander round. While we were in Carlisle clickychick had to nip in to see a jobbing jeweller she had used while she ran the shop. I opted to loiter in the centre of town and try to find a blip. While taking various shots this building detail caught my eye. High on the wall above Costas.

From there it was a quick lunch in a little pub tucked away behind M & S, buy a radar key for "The Mother" to use. Then back to Penrith to pick up some grocery shopping (we support the local economy where possible) then on to the Lodge. Just to give things a check over as there are no guests in residence at the moment.

Then home and a nice Chicken Chasni for the evening meal. All in all a good day.
