My Gorgeous Life

Spent the evening with this lovely bunch of people, eating Italian food and laughing ourselves silly. They make my daily life a thing of glory, as we all work together - our Grub Club evenings are just an excuse for the fun to continue. Previously we sampled South East Asian food, whilst tonight was ALL about the Italian dishes.

Hannah made the most incredible lasagne, Tom & Jade brought garlic bread and a Sicilian potato dish, and Lydia, Holly and Rou-Afza contributed wine, salad and nibbles/non-alcoholic drinks respectively.

My task was to make pudding: a nice tiramisu. It is not featured here because it was a disaster. Tasted ok, looked like uncooked toad-in-the-hole. The less said, the better. *shame*

Still, we had a bloody good laugh and a lovely evening: I'm jolly lucky to have these guys around!
