Pleading

"Mummy - is the rain EVER going to stop so that we can go for a walk?"

It was a very dark and rainy day today. Poor Dolly didn't get to go for a proper walk. But she did enjoy lots of sleep in front of the fire. She's looking lovely after her 'hairdressing' appointment yesterday, but she's always very tired the next day.

Tomorrow is looking a bit more promising, but it's due to be very windy. At least the wind should blow those clouds away! We may even get to see the sun!

Dolly and I are going for a short holiday next week - I booked a cottage this evening in a sleepy part of England. Something to look forward to is a tonic in itself!
