Mending

Another torrid day at the interface - but at least I remembered to take some little breaks. 20 mins yoga then later on 20 mins battering some mad dough I found in the freezer into a sort of loaf-like appearance. With brief interludes of trying to mend the unravelled neck of Mr H's gansey - which I knitted so long ago that the spare 5-ply wool (which I know I have somewhere) is buried in the depths of a box dating from at least two house moves ago. I needed a very bright light to do this, in ten minute bursts.

Later on an old friend arrived in Embra from the depths of the Welsh border and we repaired to Pizza Express in traditional style. Much bitter water has passed under many bridges since the last time we were there together. So it was very good to see her again and to have a daft blether with the occasional tear-y moment.
