Travel Plans

We expected snow today - but it didn't arrive. No 3 was very disappointed. But it's not nice out there tonight....a night to stay in round the fire.

No 2 is on her way back from the Alps. She managed a morning of skiing and they had already been on the road for 5 hours at 8 pm this evening. Ferry early Saturday morning. We are expecting her home late Saturday/early Sunday morning. She would have been quicker flying to Oz Jinty !

A small number of sick children and adults have been flown home - which will be much more comfortable than 27 hours on a coach.

No 1 has been checking out the vaccinations needed for her trip to Africa in the summer. We need to start the treatment by the end of February. Around 8 different injection courses, and tablets to take before, during and after the trip.

Thank goodness MY school trips to Butlins in Ayr only needed a packet of Spangles and a can of Fresta !
