Kung Hei Fat Choi

Chinese New Year finds us reinstating the Friday night takeaway. Before children, we had an 8pm date in the restaurant of the village pub every Friday. Once we were parents, we had to make do with a takeaways on Friday. As our son got older, he used to stay up and join us as a treat once his sister was settled.

In the intervening time, there have been clubs, parties, sleepovers etc but we appear to be regaining Friday nights again. A good reason to celebrate the New Year if nothing else.
