Apples and Oranges

Today

was the first time I was actually happy for the bus stop outside were I live… It was snowing heavily when I went home after a nice after work 'fika' with some of my friends from the Red Cross. It was snowing when I went to work also, when I took this photo, but it was a bit like a snow storm during the evening.

Today, one of the 'lessons' we had was to tell each other what was in our bags. Or, one of the lessons I gave my 'students'. They told about paper and pencils and wallets and phones and books, normal things for a bag. I had been to the post office to pick up a parcel containing a pair of trousers ordered via the net, so I thought I'd make them laugh a bit. I started with the pants, two pair of gloves, two grammar books, a notebook, a small bag containing a little box for pills and a Saami wishbone from a rain deer. Then I continued with two apples, a passport, a wallet, a buss card, a concealer (makeup) and I actually forgot my iPod, my hand cream and my small camera. They just stared at me and at my bag - which isn't that big… and laughed a lot and my friend joked with me and continued the list with two armchairs, a table and a sofa. Then I suddenly had a librarian in my bag too, which of course is really, really important to have in your bag!! It was fun! :D

It's the monthly 'fotofika' tomorrow and we're all meeting at the photo museum in Stockholm, so I'm off to bed early.
I hope you all have a great start at the weekend!
