Rainbow Over The Cranes, London

Day 31 of 365. I'm amazed I've managed to take an image every day this month! I must admit that some of my shots will not win awards for originality, technique or carefully worked out composition but sometimes you just have to do the best that you can with the limited time available.
Today's shot was taken just as I got off the train and, strangely, it had begun to rain (when will this biblical deluge end!) but the light was tinged with a rather beautiful pink blush and all of a sudden this magnificent rainbow appeared from nowhere - somewhere even the cranes couldn't compete with.
I'm so glad it's Friday as this week has been a very stressful one at work and I'm so looking forward to not having to get up at 5.30!
