A young Rod Stewart

This is a sleeve of a 1979 Rod Stewart LP which contains some of my favourites, "Do you think I'm Sexy?", "Maggie May" and "I am Sailing".

The song "I am Sailing" brings back memories of the BBC Television series called 'Sailor', a documentary about life on board H.M.S. Ark Royal. The song was used as the title theme tune for the series. For those who saw the series, can you remember the episode where the sailors sang their version of the words to the song?

For the younger viewers - LP means Long Player which is a 12 inch, 33⅓ rpm microgroove vinyl record containing 5 songs on each side that was played on a record player.
