The eyes say it all!

I had a choice of 2 photos today. This was the first. The second was taken moments later when Arthur dipped his head to give Annie a kiss. Very, very sweet but I've chosen this one because it shows Annie's expression when she looks at her brother. Whenever Arthur is near, he is Annie's only focal point. She absolutely adores him.

It has been a wet and miserable day today and we've suffered a little from cabin fever. We were due at a play date this afternoon and both children were coated and booted, Annie was in her car seat when disaster struck. No car keys. I looked everywhere. Giles arrived home from work sheepishly with both sets. Daddy in the dog house! So, instead of going out, we cuddled up on the sofa and watched Lady and the Tramp. It was tricky at times as Arthur wanted to share my knee with Annie but very lovely too. Arthur, who has a thing for dogs, was entranced and giggled at the doggy antics all the way through.

This evening has been spent tickle chasing and playing with the musical instruments- actually Arthur played with the instruments but wouldn't let me and Giles join in. Each time we picked up a tambourine or hand bell, we had it taken away by a stern faced toddler. It's clear who wears the trousers in this house!
