Dead Loss

We are looking into having solar photovoltaic panels fitted. I didn't realise it would be so difficult. I called four local companies. One would not come and visit because it is a long way and we might choose a competitor; so they came up with quote based on viewing the house on G**gleEarth. Not impressed. Another lot called about an hour before they were due to cancel (OK he did have a reasonable excuse).
Today I got an e-mail at 07.35 confirming an appointment at 2.00pm. At 11.30 I got a call saying the representative was ill and would not be coming; so why did he send a confirmation e-mail?
Makes three out four less useful than a dead rose. At least I can use the rose for Blip.
Is it wine o'clock yet?
