Serious Injury?

Another long hard day with little time to blip. Fortunately my daughter presented me with a blip opportunity right under my own roof.

It would seem that she sustained an injury to her thumb playing Rugby today. After some serious and extensive examination by her parents (utilising a magnifying glass) we managed to ascertain that there was indeed an injury as the affected thumb was marginally larger than the non-injured thumb! This called for some serious first aid treatment so we taped her thumb to her finger to restrict the mobility. Apparently this was not completely effective as my daughter still insists she needs a 'proper' bandage and was all for searching our various First Aid kits to find one to apply. Her logic is that if she doesn't have a 'proper' bandage how are others at school going to know she has an injury?

Must go now as I'm off the look up the correct spelling of 'hypochondriac'....
