Now this is what you young and trendies call, 'an emergency blip' ... strange that it's often termed thus, but I'll go along with it.

I'm packing and getting ready to fly to Paris for the weekend, the highlight of which is the 6 Nations match between France and England tomorrow evening.

I'm really looking forward to the match and quite looking forward to getting back to Paris - I used to work a lot in Paris and couldn't wait to leave it on a Friday afternoon to retreat to chez moi à la campagne ...
So I know it really well and hopefully will be able to squeeze a decent enough blip out of the weekend to do a small bit of justice to the city.
