Magimix?
Out walking the dog, found this interesting bit of agricultural memorabilia outside the tearoom in Millington.
It is an Oil Cake Breaker. Oil cake was made from the dried, compressed pulp left when oils such as rape had been extracted from the plants. The cake was used for animal feed but had to be broken down into pellets before feeding to livestock.
At first I thought it was a clothes wringer till I had a good look and realised it would chew up your washing!
