Rubbish

Today I was asked to go on a school trip top a place called Global Renewables, which is basically the huge facility where all your rubbish goes if you live in Lancashire.
They have a very modern education centre and a fantastic setup with hands on workshops and a facility tour.
The children had an amazing time.

The highlight was the "zero waste" lunch challenge. Everything left after lunch which was not a re-useable container is bagged and weighed. There is a league table of schools and the children (and staff) were very competitive.

The photo is of the weighing machine.
You may be able to make 0ut Willow Class at St Leonard's in the top spot!
