Dogs

Signed up to the site this afternoon, and when I got home I went for a walk with the camera. Took quite a few pics and wasn't happy with any of them - streetlight isn't my favourite and the ducks on the local pond had disappeared somewhere.

I'd just decided to go home and take some photos of something in my flat when I walked past this sign. I love old signs. I love how they can be tell-tales to what used to happen in a place, and also the craftsmanship. Obviously at some point, dogs off leads was enough of a nuisance here to be worth a day of the municipal signmaker's time.

I took about 20 shots - with flash and without - and this was my favourite.
