Space

Wednesday night tai chi class restarted after the holiday break and the move to the new school.

The new school is a fabulous building, well designed and a superb facility for students, staff and the community. Part of which includes the new home for the Orkney Theatre. Haven't been inside the theatre yet but I reckon the architects have done a great job of designing a space which although housed within the school it won't feel like you're being dragged back to your school days when you arrive for an evening performance.

I think our tai chi class will eventually take place in the new dance studio but as that is being used for exams we were in one of the gymnasiums tonight. SO much better suited than the old school's dining hall. For starters the lack of suspicious crumbs on the floor has to be a good thing.
