30/365 Serendipity

I had been sitting on my bedroom floor in front of the window for several minutes attempting to compose a still life shot with absolutely no success. Frustrated beyond measure, I leaned back against the bed and looked out the window. There was something about the way the light was cast on the treetops that drew my attention. I made this shot and gave up on the still life. Sometimes you just have to stop trying so hard.
