Exposure
As I was passing a window at work, I thought I saw a hawk way up in a tree beyond the parking lot. I grabbed my scope, but thought that I'd better say something in warning to my newest co-worker, as she doesn't know about my bird/animal/camera thing. So I said, "ok, don't think I'm weird, but I think I see a hawk out there, so I'm going to use a scope thingy." And she said, "oh, I don't think that's weird, I do that, too." And then she added, "I mean, I don't look through a scope or anything, but I look at birds sometimes."
It was a hawk - this hawk - and while it was not the best shot of the day, it was the best laugh I had. (First runner up was me frantically trying to find my other glove and after searching my office twice, realizing it was already on my hand. I didn't look there, I guess:)
