Arnish Point Lighthouse

I finished work at 2pm today and Michael wasn't finishing until 5pm so I did some bits in town then thought I'd have a trip out to another lighthouse. As I pulled into the car park the sun came out from behind the clouds and bathed everything in a lovely golden glow. I didn't think it would last until I walked out to the lighthouse (the track itself runs alongside the only industrial estate on Lewis so isn't exactly picturesque) but it did.

As I walked along the track there was a 4x4 in front of me driving very slowly with a dog running along side, a very lazy way to walk the dog!

I spent a nice hour or so at the lighthouse exploring and taking photographs. A nice way to spend the afternoon.
