knit one, purl one

Have been off work again today, still feeling ropey, but did manage to do some knitting later on in the day.

I'm making a present for some good friends who are expecting very soon - the pressure is on! I actually started this for another friend who knew she was having a little boy. I had lost the momentum and now he's not so little anymore! So take two, but this time I'm not sure what the happy couple are expecting, so my mission is to finish this one and then start a more neutral one to have my bases covered, nothing like a challenge so close to the due date!
