Orchid

This multi-headed orchid is blooming again beautifully this year having over-wintered(although it's still winter), maybe rested is more accurate, in a spare room. It was passed on to us by a neighbour. Having finished blooming, our friend knew Pete doesn't give up on plants and would have the patience to bring it back to life!

Many years ago I studied orchids for my O level art and this view particularly 'takes me back' :-)
