Back breaker

End of the day looking back at my afternoons work! I had just completed clearing this dyke from the tree in the distance, by hand of debris and watercress! My back is sore my hands have blisters but there is a very satisfying feeling of a job well done. I will if my backs is willing walk it tomorrow when the level has dropped and tidy anything I've missed.
I have not comment before on the plight of the SW , and the agencies slow response, but I must say that the environment agency and the conservationist have for ages been calling for less drainage and more land wetting. Well we sure have what they wanted now! :0(
