My apostrophe blip yesterday produced some very amusing comments, not least about the man who was featured on the orders of service in the printer's display.

You might be interested in the rest of the text on the the cards. John Robert Smith was apparently married on 25 June 1013 and is hopefully still in a state of matrimony, because his funeral is not due until 20 November 2014 when he will have reached the age of 86!

I doubt the printer will ever know how many people around the world have shown such interest in his little soap opera.

I've had a very tiring and quite stressful day today, so I will have to defer my commenting until tomorrow and hope to catch up then.
