The Emma Awards

Here some Emma statuettes of a lady with a horned viking helmet. These had just been cast out of bronze at the foundry where I will start a sculpting course with Outi soon.

Emmas are awarded each year by Finnish music producers to merited people in the Finnish music scene in a broad array of categories ranging from pop music to classical music.

It is hard, however, to see the connection of this horned lady with music - other than Brünnehilde in Wagner's opera the Ring of the Nebulung... but there they are in a nice row, anyways!
