What a dreich week ..

It's been an awful day .. dark and bleak and cold and miserable.

Here's my best girl - Mama fox. She's been through the wars a bit recently. I'm told her facial injury was probably sustained in a territorial fight.

Her eyes are always slightly iffy .. I gave her a course of antibiotics in the summer and they improved quite a lot.

Today I went out with the start of another course of antibiotics, disguised in a jam sandwich. She took the sandwich - but just sat next to it for a good ten minutes - she knew I had some (garlic laced) chicken wings, which she'd have preferred, but in the end she realised she wasn't going to get any chicken until she ate her jam sandwich!
