Rose Apples

Rose apples are a slightly sweet, light flavored, watery fruit. They are especially refreshing on a hot day if they have been refrigerated for a while. With our cooler "winter weather" gone, we are back to averages around 32*C/90*F. Which means cool, refreshing snacks are in demand.

It's easy to remember the name of this fruit in Thai. It sounds like the Thai word for pink, which happens to sound like something we use a lot, shampoo!
